Deputy General Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at Aztec Hotel & Spa.

About the Role

As a key member of our Leadership Team, you will be responsible for delivering the operational and sales strategy for all areas of the hotel.

You will manage key operational teams, ensuring the highest levels of guest experience are provided at every touch point.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will work closely with the Heads of Department to support recruitment, retention, and training.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing operational teams to deliver exceptional guest service and hospitality
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Coaching and developing Departmental Managers to achieve business objectives
  • Conducting monthly P&L reviews with managers, reporting results and actions to the General Manager
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and commercial individual who is passionate about enhancing the guest journey and experience.

You will have a thorough understanding of the hotel industry and market place, being aware of the challenges and opportunities.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in hotel operations, preferably in a Deputy General Manager or similar role
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions
