Group Financial Director

IPS Group is seeking a seasoned finance professional to fill the role of Group Financial Controller. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute accountant to join a growing insurance intermediary and contribute to the company's financial success.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead the preparation of group financial statements, including income statements, consolidated balance sheets, and cash flow reporting.
- Develop and maintain management reports that provide key financial performance metrics and business health indicators.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, including FCA and RMAR submissions.
- Manage the company's trading cash resources to ensure adequate liquidity and optimal working capital.
- Oversee cost-saving initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate in the development of the company's financial framework and strategy.
- Lead a finance team and manage external stakeholder relationships, including banking partners, lenders, executive committees, and regulators.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ICAS)
- Experience in an insurance environment, preferably in a broking or intermediary role, with a strong background in controllership and multi-entity group structures.
