Group Financial Director

This is a senior-level position within the Accounting & Finance department, reporting to the Senior Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial control function for the group, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the financial control function for the group, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Manage and develop the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial services.
- Liaise with external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process and addressing any audit findings.
- Monitor regulatory changes in the insurance industry, ensuring the company remains compliant and up-to-date with the latest requirements.
- Provide strategic financial input to senior management, supporting business decisions and driving growth.
- A professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of financial control principles.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
- A competitive salary, ranging from £100,000 to £120,000 per annum.
