Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role offers a unique opportunity to engage deeply with the organization and gain significant exposure during a pivotal phase of their strategic initiatives. This position is highly visible, working closely with senior leaders across departments (Sales and Marketing) to shape strategic direction, deliver comprehensive commercial insights, and identify avenues for performance enhancement and profitable growth.
We are in search of a qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA finance professional with diverse experience in commercial finance, particularly in collaboration with sales and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player capable of fostering robust relationships across the organization while thriving in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Attention to detail is crucial, along with the ability to interpret and communicate business performance effectively to facilitate informed decision-making. The capacity to guide, challenge, and influence senior stakeholders is essential, as this role transcends mere provision of insightful commercial analysis.
The successful applicant will hold a CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification and possess prior experience in a comparable commercial role within sectors such as FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or consumer goods.
Confidence in engaging with a diverse array of individuals and cultures is vital, alongside exceptional communication skills that have previously influenced commercial decisions to enhance revenue and margin. We seek an individual with enthusiasm, drive, and energy to instigate significant improvements.
This role demands strong analytical capabilities, business partnering, and influencing skills to navigate a complex business landscape with multiple stakeholders. A creative and innovative mindset towards problem-solving and analysis is essential, as is the ability to deliver results in high-pressure environments while managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
Furthermore, the candidate should demonstrate business acumen and a willingness to acquire knowledge across various functions. Effective communication skills are necessary to translate financial data into actionable insights and build successful business relationships.
