Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker for a young boy with Autism. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on a child's life and support their development of independence and social skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to the young boy, aged 9, in a variety of settings, including social and leisure activities. This will involve:

  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene needs
  • Supporting the child to access social and leisure activities, such as trampolining and soft play
  • Encouraging the child to develop their independence and social skills
  • Providing emotional support and reassurance when needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working with children, particularly those with special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
  • Reliability and commitment to ensuring the child's safety and well-being
