About the Role

The Renal Unit Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading the renal unit team to provide high-quality patient care and services
  • Coordinating and participating in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients with chronic and acute renal failure
  • Managing the renal unit's resources and budget
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient care and services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A registered general nurse qualification
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • ENB 136 or Renal Diploma
  • Leadership/Transforming Care Programme
  • Significant experience at Band 6/7
  • Proven staff management experience of acute or renal nurses at band 6 or above
