We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Employment Advisor to join our team at Seetec Business Technology Centre. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals to overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance and support to clients to help them develop their employability skills and achieve their career aspirations.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' strengths, weaknesses, and career goals, and develop personalized action plans to help them achieve their objectives.
- Work closely with clients to identify and overcome barriers to employment, such as lack of skills or experience, and provide tailored support to help them overcome these challenges.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of services and achieve desired outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and make recommendations for improvement.
- A good working knowledge of the local labour market and the ability to provide expert guidance on career development and employability skills.
- Basic knowledge of self-employment and the ability to provide support and guidance to clients who are interested in starting their own business.
- Fully IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programmes and able to use technology to support client engagement and service delivery.
- Experience of working in a target-driven environment and able to meet contractual and quality standards.
- Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the employability industry and the ability to provide expert guidance on career development and employability skills.
- Knowledge of the recruitment industry and the ability to provide support and guidance to clients who are looking for employment.
- Experience of working with people in the provision of 'information, advice & guidance' and able to provide expert guidance on career development and employability skills.
- Full driving licence and able to travel to meet clients and engage in outreach work.
