We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join our team at one of the best accountancy practices in Kent.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a large, well-established firm of chartered accountants, in a mixed position, equally split between audit & accounts. You will have the chance to gain fantastic exposure and a very clear and realistic opportunity to progress in your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Leadership: You will report to the Audit and Accounts Manager and lead audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the team and client where necessary.
  • Client Support: You will support a varied portfolio of clients from owner-managed to not-for-profit organisations, providing accountancy and taxation advice and support as necessary.
  • Team Management: You will assist in the management of a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants, mentoring colleagues and reviewing their work to ensure prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
  • Business Development: You will contribute to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: You should be either ACA or ACCA-qualified.
  • Experience: You should have experience in FRS102 and be currently working in an Audit and Accounts-focused position.
  • Communication Skills: You should be a strong communicator who can converse with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Progressive Mindset: You should have a progressive mindset and be willing to improve your career.
Benefits
  • Salary: £43,000 - £48,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
  • Benefits Package: A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
