Job Title: Senior Healthcare Assistant
Job Summary:
Resilience Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in overseeing and monitoring care workers, care assistants, and home carers in residential care establishments, day care establishments, or in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Supervise a team of care assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of service users, working closely with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure and heart rate, and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Medication Management: Complete patient medication records accurately and in a timely manner.
- Activity Development: Develop and lead activities for service users, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Communication: Keep families informed about their relative's progress, providing regular updates and support.
- Staff Development: Train and mentor new staff members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to provide high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Experience in a senior care role, preferably in a residential care setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of care planning and medication management.
