This position offers a chance to become part of the Surgical collaborative, which delivers services across various clinical environments in Cumbria. The aim of the service is to provide a high-quality, locally delivered, patient-centered service.
This role is vital for the smooth daily operation of the service.
We seek a skilled and professional Administrative Support Specialist who can maintain a proficient typing speed with recent or relevant experience in a similar capacity, consistently producing professional correspondence and documents. The position is located at Cumberland Infirmary, providing typing support for Consultants, Staff Grades, Specialist Doctors, and Nurse Practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will frequently be the initial point of contact for our patients, thus a professional, patient-oriented approach is essential at all times. You will deliver high-quality administrative support to the clinical team, coordinating with other departments, patients, NHS Trusts, and external organizations.
Candidates must possess a minimum of GCSE (C Grade) qualifications, be trained to RSA level 2 standard and/or hold an NVQ level 2 in Administration, along with relevant typing experience, ideally with an administrative background.
We are looking for an individual with a friendly, adaptable demeanor who can remain composed under pressure and manage a busy workload efficiently and effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with a positive attitude towards teamwork.
