Job Summary: We are seeking a professional Quantity Surveyor to join our Reading office, where you will work alongside private and public sector clients, receiving the benefits of a successful, RICS-accredited training programme.
The Quantity Surveyor Role:
For the first few months, the successful Quantity Surveyor will assist an Associate Quantity Surveyor on a mix of education, healthcare, MOD, and residential projects. From there, the new Quantity Surveyor will start running their own projects with the support of the Associate and senior management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract administration.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.
- Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Completed a Construction-related/Quantity Surveying degree.
- 2+ years of Quantity Surveying experience.
- Quantity Surveying experience within a UK PQS/Consultancy environment.
- Within a commutable distance of Reading.
- Pre- and post-contract experience.
- Driving license.
