Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of a £15m Residential New Build Project in Reading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the project from procurement to successful completion
  • Develop and encourage project team performance
  • Agree external valuations and cash flow to maximise project value
  • Agree and produce main and subcontract final accounts

Requirements:

  • 3-8 years' experience in quantity surveying
  • New Build experience is essential
  • Degree in Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Management
  • Strong communication skills and confident in report writing

About the Role:

This is a hybrid role, where you will be based predominantly on the site in Reading but also in the office a couple of times a week in London. Our client is an established Main Contractor with a strong reputation in the industry.
