About the Role:
Our client, a prominent supplier to the nuclear sector in the UK with a global footprint, is providing remarkable opportunities throughout the entire nuclear lifecycle.

Your position as a Nuclear Systems Engineer will be crucial in aiding several key areas in the UK, including nuclear decommissioning, energy production, new construction, and defense.

Work Arrangement:
This role offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely. The office locations are flexible.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Nuclear Systems Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Designing and engineering safety and efficiency systems within nuclear facilities.
  • Creating Block Cable Diagrams.
  • Developing safety mechanism drawings.
  • Designing electrical power distribution systems.
  • Participating in risk assessments.
  • Collaborating with various engineering disciplines.

Qualifications:
We welcome candidates with:

  • A relevant bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, control engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in nuclear systems engineering or a comparable role (for experienced candidates).
  • Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software tools.

Compensation and Benefits:
Your expertise will be compensated with competitive pay rates. Enjoy the stability of 12-month contracts that will be renewed, allowing you to engage in long-term projects.

Work Hours:
Typically, you will work from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to adjust your schedule based on project requirements.
