About the Role:
This is a supervisory position within our operations team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of a team of 10 staff members. The successful candidate will have previous experience in freight forwarding and supervisory roles, with a strong understanding of customs procedures and good IT knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the operations team, ensuring efficient workflow and holiday requests are handled promptly.
- Deal with and resolve client issues, maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Develop and mentor staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Work closely with the director to improve processes and procedures.
- Be hands-on with shipments, dealing with VIP accounts and ensuring smooth logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Previous freight forwarding experience.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
- Strong understanding of customs procedures.
- Good IT knowledge.
