About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our People Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our People Strategy and workforce agenda.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all People matters in one of our divisions, supporting our clinical services and ensuring operational and strategic approaches complement each other.
  • Provide senior HR leadership support to services, working collaboratively with key stakeholders to enable transformational change and create a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement workforce plans at an operational level, advising managers on change processes, including restructuring and redesign, redundancy, and TUPE transfers.
  • Support managers in complex HR issues, ensuring sound understanding of HR best practice and employment law.
Requirements
  • Chartered Member of the CIPD
  • Masters degree in relevant HR Management or equivalent experience
  • Experience of recent generalist HR in a large complex organisation
  • Experience across a broad range of HR work, including HR policy development and implementation
  • Experience of consultation and working in partnership with Trade Unions
  • Experience of workforce planning across a range of disciplines
  • Experience of applying a business partner approach
