We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Governance Analyst to enhance the quality, management, and security of business-critical data. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data governance, data management, data quality, data cataloging, and SQL.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Data Standards: Establish and maintain data standards, policies, practices, and procedures to ensure data integrity, compliance, and availability.
- Identify and Resolve Data-Related Issues: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues.
- Serve as a Liaison: Act as a liaison between Business and Technology to ensure that data-related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, prioritized, and actioned.
- Review and Audit Data: Review and audit data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Assist in Data Management: Assist in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners.
- Create and Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data flow diagrams.
- Support Data Governance Initiatives: Provide support for data governance initiatives, such as data cataloging using Collibra or similar tools.
- Conduct Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions and workshops on data governance practices and principles.
- Develop Metrics and Dashboards: Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop metrics and dashboards for data quality.
- Participate in Program Strategies: Participate in the development and support of data governance program strategies, roadmaps, and project plans.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Quality.
- Proven experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with Collibra or other data cataloging tools.
- Experience with Data Quality tools, such as Ataccama, IDQ, Collibra, etc.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with database management systems.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree is required; master's degree is desired.
- Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
