About the Role
Tops Day Nurseries is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Nursery Cleaner to join our team. As a key member of our cleaning staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our nursery premises, including the laundry room.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the nursery premises are clean and tidy, including the laundry room.
- Check and reorder stock as needed to maintain sufficient supplies.
- Operate all necessary equipment, including vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, and steam cleaners.
- Report any problems, faults, or damage to the relevant authorities.
- Contribute to the sustainable ethos of the company by actively participating in energy conservation and recycling efforts.
About You
We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:
- Able to use cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals safely and appropriately.
- Aware of the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment for children and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including part-time hours.
