Omega Resource Group is partnering with a leading Aerospace & Defence client to recruit highly skilled Software Developers to join their European Centre of Excellence for Software Engineering in the UK.

They are seeking capable, adaptable, and inquisitive software engineers to join the team developing cutting-edge Command and Control, Launch Management, and In-Flight Data Link solutions for the next generation of advanced air defence systems.

Working across the entire software engineering lifecycle, from discussing requirement changes with the Systems team to being involved in qualification and software releases. Collaborating with innovative technologies across a range of land and maritime defence projects.

Key Requirements:

  1. A strong background in software development
  2. Experience in Ada or a strongly typed language
  3. Knowledge of external standards such as DefStan 00-55 and MISRA
  4. Development for embedded Linux
  5. Exposure to system testing (on virtualised and real hardware) and host-based testing
  6. Able to innovate and think critically to solve complex software problems

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification.
