Exciting Opportunity for a Systems Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Systems Design Engineer to join our team at CV Library in Bristol. This role will be crucial in developing capabilities to protect interests and global security.

As a Systems Design Engineer, you will support the development of command and control systems for domestic and export customers in maritime and land application air defence. Our projects involve upgrading the functionality and performance of existing in-service systems and integrating command and control systems with customer platforms and wider battlespace.

Day-to-day, you will work closely with the system architect and software architect to support the functional design of the C2 software. You will be involved in analysing command and control requirements and interfaces, proposing design changes, understanding the behaviour and performance of complex algorithms, generating requirements for software and hardware, and investigating customer queries.

Requirements:

  1. Systems design and systems engineering experience in similar products
  2. Passion for creating innovative functional design to meet challenging requirements, solving complex problems, and providing solutions that help the user perform their role to the best of their ability
  3. Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience)

You should be able and willing to gain (UK Eyes only) security clearance, potentially to DV level in the future.
