About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mental Health Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join our Living Well Gedling Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting individuals with mental health needs to live independently and achieve their goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex mental health cases and hospital discharges from acute psychiatric wards
  • Leading the team on duty and safeguarding work
  • Developing, supervising, coaching, and leading staff
  • Embedding strength-based approaches to promote independence and wellbeing

We are looking for a qualified social worker with experience in mental health, who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our service users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health legislation and policies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
