Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial leader to join our team at Movement for Reform Judaism. As a key member of our senior team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and seamless financial transition of our organization.

About the Role

This senior role will be responsible for overseeing the finance and risk functions for Movement for Reform Judaism and its related charities, with a combined turnover of £10m. You will be responsible for the timely delivery of management and financial accounts, as well as identifying and mitigating risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance department and oversee the financial operations of Movement for Reform Judaism and its related charities.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of the organization.
  • Manage and mitigate financial risk, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to drive business growth and development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with a proven track record of leading a team and working in partnership with colleagues. You will have excellent financial analysis and management expertise, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
