Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team in Woking. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing automotive systems, including body, comfort, chassis, powertrain, infotainment, diagnostics, and connected software update systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop automotive systems, including body, comfort, chassis, powertrain, infotainment, diagnostics, and connected software update systems.
  2. Implement and test automotive systems, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and acceptance testing.
  4. Apply Systems Engineering principles to solve complex technical issues using a structured approach.
  5. Develop technical leadership skills, providing guidance to peers and contributing to the development of the team.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Systems, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, 2:1 or above.
  2. Significant experience in the design, implementation, and testing of automotive systems.
  3. Experience with IBM Rational DOORS, Jama, or similar tools.
  4. Previous experience with automotive network designs (CAN/Ethernet/LIN).
  5. Experience with JIRA and AGILE or similar for daily task management.
  6. Experience with Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML tooling.
  7. Evidenced knowledge of standards such as Automotive SPICE, CMMI, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434.
