Origin Frames Ltd is in search of dedicated Distribution Assistants to enhance our operational efficiency. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately transported and verified, upholding the highest standards within our storage facilities.
Shift Schedule:
- 6:00am - 2:30pm
- 2:45pm - 11:15pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Load crates and containers for international shipments;
- Transport goods to designated areas for evening loading preparation;
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products are free from damage and defects prior to loading;
- Organize finished products within storage racks;
- Verify that complete orders are prepared and that no components are missing;
- Assist in locating any reported missing items within the facility;
- Pick and package materials to fulfill customer orders;
- Prepare internal doors with glass glazing;
- Handle blue foaming orders as necessary;
- Support customers in locating and loading their orders;
- Assist drivers with loading for multiple delivery runs;
- Transport materials between different units as required;
- Ensure protective blue packing is utilized when necessary;
- Organize orders effectively and maintain updated paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations;
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach;
- Willingness to exceed job expectations and think innovatively;
- Dependable and adaptable with a flexible work attitude;
- Self-starter with the ability to manage responsibilities efficiently;
- Commitment to adhering to company policies and procedures;
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours when necessary;
- Familiarity with the company's service offerings relevant to the role;
- Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory;
- Previous experience in a distribution role is preferred but not required as training will be provided.
