Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our team at Joseph Harry Ltd in London. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our in-house built Fixed Income attribution application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Python code for our Fixed Income attribution application
  • Collaborate with our portfolio managers and credit analysis team to ensure seamless integration with our application
  • Work closely with our AWS team to ensure our application is hosted on a secure and scalable infrastructure
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies to deliver high-quality software features

Requirements:

  • Strong experience as a Python Developer/Software Engineer with a focus on Fixed Income trading
  • Excellent Python skills with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience working with Java, Kotlin, or Scala (JVM) and AWS/GCP
  • Domain knowledge of Fixed Income, including rates, credit, bonds, and ABS

Desirable Skills:

  • AWS or GCP experience
  • Buy-side experience
  • React and TypeScript experience
