Job Title: Cultural Attaché'

**Job Summary:**

The Qatar Cultural Attaché - London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Cultural Attaché'. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic organization that aims to enhance the partnership between Qatar and the United Kingdom in Culture and Education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to Qatari students about studying in the United Kingdom, ensuring they receive the best possible education and cultural experience.
  • Supervise the academic performance of sponsored students at universities, providing regular feedback and support to ensure their success.
  • Help students settle into their new life in the United Kingdom and Ireland, maintaining regular contact with them during their scholarship and providing a supportive network.
  • Regularly obtain student feedback, maintain accurate records, and provide related reports as required, ensuring the highest level of student satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with schools, colleges, and universities to explore the most suitable opportunities for students, fostering strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships between the Cultural Attaché' Office and various institutes, promoting cultural exchange and understanding.
  • Keep up to date with universities and fields within your scope of work to track changes, updates of regulations, and news, ensuring the office remains informed and proactive.
  • Work with educational institutes in Qatar to meet their requirements in the U.K., providing expert advice and support.
  • Contribute to the preparation for the approved list of higher education institutes through review and evaluation of their performance, ensuring the highest standards are met.
  • Keep up to date with UK education and higher education system, staying informed about the latest developments and trends.
  • Regularly review UKVI and visa regulations, ensuring compliance and providing expert advice to students and stakeholders.
  • Arrange activities and events related to the partnership between the office and universities, promoting cultural exchange and understanding.
  • Liaise with different bodies such as the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Embassy, Universities, and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Analysis and evaluation of the Cultural Office work on a regular basis and prepare periodic reports, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare research and reports for management regarding statistics, educational institutions, education, and higher education system in the United Kingdom, providing expert analysis and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, and preference for postgraduate level, in a relevant field such as Education, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English language, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 10 years and above of experience, including minimum of 2 years in related area, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
