Position Overview

Quality Assurance Lead – North West

We are excited to present a full-time opportunity for a Quality Assurance Lead to oversee exceptional quality standards within our new partnership initiative in the North West region.

In this senior role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding the delivery team to foster a quality-centric culture aimed at achieving optimal outcomes. Your expertise will provide assurance to both internal and external stakeholders regarding compliance and will promote our core value of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing a quality strategy for the Framework, aligned with our Integrated Management System.
  • Driving the effective implementation of the Quality Management System, incorporating best practices and innovative methods for ongoing enhancement.
  • Establishing and deploying mechanisms to ensure compliance, actively engaging in verification activities relevant to your expertise.
  • Facilitating the successful completion of projects by collaborating with others to ensure effective handover processes.
  • Conducting regular evaluations of sites and workplaces to verify adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing the audit program for the Framework and supporting the achievement of third-party certifications.
  • Implementing systems to monitor and report on quality management performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Leading quality enhancement initiatives, including the application of improvement tools, conducting workshops, and investigating quality-related incidents.
  • Providing training, coaching, and mentoring to instill the necessary knowledge and skills to foster a world-class quality culture.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in a Quality managerial capacity.
  • Proven site-based experience in civil engineering or construction is essential.
  • Experience in the water sector is advantageous.
  • Relevant Quality Membership (MCQI) is preferred.
  • Qualified as an Internal or Lead Auditor.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project).
  • Possession of a valid UK Driving Licence.
