Position Overview

Quality Assurance Lead

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: £39,600

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off), 7-7

This role has been established within an organization that has recently undergone a significant cultural and operational shift.

In light of a new structural framework, the team dynamics and organizational culture have evolved, fostering a more progressive environment that empowers each manager with autonomy.

The Quality Assurance Manager has initiated this position to provide essential support to the on-site quality teams, addressing challenges, nurturing team development, and making pivotal decisions regarding quality benchmarks on the production floor.

The food production facility has benefited from substantial investments in recent years, and you will be instrumental in several modernization initiatives that are currently underway.

Joining a remarkable quality and technical team, you will collaborate with approachable and supportive colleagues who are committed to your professional growth.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with a background as a Quality Supervisor, QA Supervisor, Quality Team Leader, or QA Team Leader within the Food Production sector, preferably with experience supplying to major retailers.

While Food Safety and HACCP Level 3 certification is desirable, it is not mandatory, as training can be provided if necessary.
