Senior Electrical Engineer - Cambridge

At QODA Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering creative and innovative design solutions in building services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement design and economic feasibility studies, surveys, and reports
  • Plan and manage engineering projects, including methods, costs, time schedules, and staff requirements
  • Supervise and mentor technicians, providing them with design information and guidance
  • Conduct and supervise site inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements
Requirements:
  • Professional qualifications and membership in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience working with external clients and understanding their expectations and project delivery
  • Technical expertise in electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of building services
Skills:
  • Supervision and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Project delivery skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience:
  • Experience in the construction and renewables sector, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices
  • Experience supervising teams and managing projects
