Field Support Engineer

Labman Automation Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Support Engineer to join our team. As a Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to our customers' laboratory automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and planned improvements to Labman custom automation systems.
- Configure and install new laboratory automation systems at customer sites worldwide.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of our systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
- Document customer feedback and information to improve future system design and customer experience.
Requirements:
- Degree or Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Robotics, Software, or similar/applicable work-based experience.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills, including decision making, clear communication, research, and analysis skills.
- Enthusiastic temperament, relishing tackling dynamic situations.
- Experience with hand tools and customer-facing roles.
- Ability to identify issues, diagnose faults, and provide solutions.
- Willingness to regularly travel worldwide, sometimes at short notice.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize work.
- Customer-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude and driving license.
