Overview of the Morgan Group

The Morgan Group's research is centered on elucidating the mechanisms underlying meiotic recombination, particularly the intriguing aspects of crossover interference. We employ advanced super-resolution imaging techniques alongside genetics, genomics, and biochemistry to explore meiotic recombination, utilizing Arabidopsis and wheat as model organisms. Role Responsibilities

The selected candidate will investigate the biochemistry of meiotic recombination proteins in Arabidopsis. This includes exploring the biophysical principles behind recombination protein dynamics and their influence on crossover designation.
