Training Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Learning and Development Department as a Training Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to create extraordinary days for the children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule training courses with internal trainers and external providers, ensuring alignment with predicted training needs.
  • Source and book venues for training sessions, guaranteeing they meet our standards.
  • Manage our Learning Management System (LMS), handling new starters, leavers, transfers, and required amendments to training assignments.
  • Coordinate the Learning Request Form (LRF) system, handling purchase orders, invoicing, and producing departmental reports.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with internal departments and external providers to support our organization's goals.
  • Ensure training schedules are communicated effectively to employees and manage the logistics of training events.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to meet the needs of the recipient.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple systems efficiently.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and see them through to completion.
  • A team player who is accountable and takes responsibility for their work.
