Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and driven individual to join our Learning and Development Department as a Training Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in supporting our mission to create extraordinary days for the children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling training courses with internal trainers and external providers, based on predicted training needs.
  • Sourcing and booking venues for training sessions, ensuring they are fit for purpose.
  • Managing our Learning Management System (LMS), handling new starters, leavers, transfers, and any required amendments to training assignments.
  • Coordinating the Learning Request Form (LRF) system, handling purchase orders, invoicing, and producing departmental reports.
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with internal departments and external providers to support the organization's goals.
  • Ensuring training schedules are communicated effectively to employees and managing the logistics of training events.
  • Maintaining accurate training records and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to meet the needs of the recipient.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple systems efficiently.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and see them through to completion.
  • A team player who is accountable and takes responsibility for their work.
