About the Role

The Boiler Installations Finance Analyst Role is a high-impact position that offers development in FP&A and Business Partnering skills. You'll work closely with business teams, including Planning and Performance Management, to add value and insight to our forecasting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business and across finance
  • Develop an understanding of business strategy and its translation into financial impacts
  • Provide robust insight and analysis to drive improvements in financial performance
  • Support finance transformation activity through delivery of improvements in forecasting and reporting
  • Produce standard finance deliverables to the agreed timeline and quality, supported by clear and focused explanations and messaging
  • Regularly report performance against plans and forecasts, supporting business review of financial and operational variances to identify corrective actions
  • Support delivery of accurate, efficient, and transparent financial plans and forecasts
  • Carry out non-standard / bespoke analysis to support business decision making and identify performance improvement interventions
Requirements
  • Recognised accountancy qualification or passed finalist
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to pro-actively develop positive and highly effective working relationships
  • Motivated by continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outputs
  • Ability to identify a problem and think through an approach to develop a solution
  • Experience of providing commercial analysis and evaluation in a financial planning and analysis or business partnering role
  • Strong IT skills (e.g. SAP, Excel, Power BI)
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to summarise complex data and matters and communicate effectively
  • An interest in automation and use of new tools to analyse data and streamline processes
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment and working to tight deadlines
  • Ability to identify, assess and analyse organisation-wide operational risks and controls
