Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Systems Specialist to join our team at MBDA. As a key member of our quality management team, you will be responsible for driving improvements in product assurance and quality through the enhanced utilisation of our software tools and data analytics tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance Systems: Lead the integration and optimisation of SAP systems, particularly within the SAP Quality Management (QM) module, to enhance quality assurance processes and support software changes and testing.
  • Data Analytics and Innovation: Utilise business intelligence and analytics tools to solve quality challenges, focusing on predictive and prescriptive analytics to anticipate and prevent non-conformance issues.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programmes to ensure users are proficient with SAP systems and quality management tools, fostering continuous learning and improvement.
  • User Support and System Management: Manage user support requests, incidents, and system updates to ensure smooth and efficient operations and minimise disruptions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices across the product lifecycle to improve quality, reduce issues, and maintain high industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Operational experience in product quality management
  • Experience of working in an aerospace/defence engineering business – preferred, not essential
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, and in particular SAP QM/SAP HANA, together with SAP project and change management experience – beneficial, but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and demonstrating a determination and persistence to deliver results.
