Salary: £50,000 per annum, based on 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our new children's home in South Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and managing a small three-bedroom home, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children with social and emotional needs related to Autism, ADHD, and Trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of dedicated professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the best possible care and support for the children.
  • Child Development: Work closely with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the children receive the best quality of life possible.
  • Safety and Wellbeing: Ensure the children's safety and wellbeing are paramount, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the children have the right support and care plans in place.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Qualities: Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing a team and making strategic decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to update children's plans and work with various stakeholders.
  • Driving Licence: A driving licence is required, as you will need to transport the children to various activities and appointments.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, including undertaking health, safety, and risk assessments, budget management, and contributing to the on-call rota.
  • Qualifications: Ideally, a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Children's Care.
