Job Title: Registered Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead our new children's home in South Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and registering our home, building a dedicated team, and providing exceptional care and support to children with social and emotional needs related to Autism, ADHD, and Trauma.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the recruitment, supervision, and training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and experience to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, conducting regular risk assessments and implementing measures to mitigate any potential risks.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver activities that promote the children's physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the home, including budgeting, health and safety, and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
  • Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in residential care or a related field, with a strong understanding of child development and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to contribute to the on-call rota.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
