Job Purpose:
This position is essential for delivering high-quality education to students and enhancing the professional environment of the school.
Role Requirements:
Applicants must be aware that certain roles necessitate PVG Membership. Candidates will be responsible for the PVG membership fee, applicable only to positions with a full-time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above.
The Council will initially cover the PVG membership cost, which will be deducted from the first full month's salary. The fees are £18 for existing PVG scheme members and £59 for non-members.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Provide comprehensive instruction in the relevant subject area and contribute to curriculum development.
- Effectively manage classroom activities through meticulous planning and preparation.
- Assess, document, and communicate student progress to inform diverse teaching methodologies.
- Prepare students for examinations and qualifications, assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
- Support the maintenance of a conducive learning environment and contribute to the broader needs of the school.
- Engage in school and council planning and improvement initiatives.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and support the growth of colleagues, including probationary and student teachers.
