FitzRoy Residential Care in Rayleigh is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support, and who is able to work flexibly to meet the needs of our service users. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized care and support, including personal care, leisure activities, and daily living tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support individuals to engage in leisure activities, such as swimming, trampolining, and music
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and household chores
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive rate of pay, with weekday rates from £11.00ph rising to £13.50ph with overtime, and weekend rates from £12.10ph rising to £14.60ph with overtime. We also offer full-time and part-time positions, as well as the opportunity to work weekends only at an enhanced rate.

Requirements:

  • A full driving licence and willingness to drive FitzRoy vehicles
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
