About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience.
  • Support students with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team approach.
Requirements
  • Relevant SEN experience or qualifications (PMLD, ASC, SLD, or MLD) is desired but not essential.
  • A passion for working with students with SEN and a commitment to their well-being and success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a flexible approach to meet the needs of the students and the school.
