Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs within our school's SEN provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide essential support to children with special educational needs, working closely with the SENCO and class teachers to implement individualised learning plans and interventions.
  • Assist students with academic tasks and social interaction, as required, to ensure their holistic development and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, parents, and fellow staff members to ensure the effective support of SEN students.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in a SEN provision within a school setting is essential.
  • Strong understanding of various SEN needs and strategies for supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Must have a valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to undergo a new one.
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
