This innovative AWS-based platform adeptly handles intricate streaming processes and is designed to manage, distribute, monetize, and analyze both live and on-demand video content. As part of the team, your primary focus will be on backend API development utilizing Laravel, while also enhancing their web-based CMS frontend through the TALL stack.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop solutions that utilize object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
- Engage in all phases of the video platform development lifecycle.
- Refactor existing code to simplify complexity and improve maintainability.
- Create a comprehensive suite of services and APIs that support the video platform, white-label solutions, and third-party integrations.
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable experience with Laravel, TailwindCSS, and Livewire.
- Familiarity with Laravel Eloquent Models.
- Proficient in managing large MySQL databases.
- Experience in integrating third-party APIs (such as payment gateways, AWS, etc.) and developing RESTful APIs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the TALL stack (Tailwind, Laravel, Livewire).
- Understanding of Laravel Queues, Jobs, Horizon, Supervisor, Laravel Pint, Larastan, RectorPHP, and Laravel Shift.
- Experience in containerized application development.
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using PHPUnit, PestPHP, or Laravel Dusk.
- Knowledge of AWS services.
- Background in the media industry or video streaming sector.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a dedicated full-stack web application developer who is enthusiastic about tackling challenges and wishes to contribute to technically sophisticated projects within an Agile framework.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with a requirement of two days in the office each week. Note: Candidates will need to be present in the office for a few days during the initial onboarding process.
