About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Futures Trader to join our team at Onyx Alpha Partners. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative futures trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and manage a futures portfolio, focusing on monetizing diverse trading signals and driving revenue growth.
  • Exchange Microstructure Expertise: Utilize in-depth knowledge of CME, Nasdaq, and Eurex to refine trading strategies and optimize market access.
  • Innovation and Collaboration: Lead a team to create new revenue models, integrating the latest research with our trading frameworks and driving business growth.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership experience at a top-tier quantitative investment firm, focusing on short to medium-term trading signals in listed futures.
  • Expertise: Expertise in CME, ICE, and Eurex microstructures and a proven ability to develop and implement successful trading strategies.
  • Strategic Innovation: Proven ability to initiate and drive strategic innovations that have delivered outsized impact to the firm's PnL, market structure, or product universe.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills to recruit, inspire, and lead a team.
