As a member of our casual staffing bank, you will enjoy the freedom to select shifts that align with your personal schedule while fulfilling the needs of our organization.
Primary Duties- Provide high-quality clinical nursing care by evaluating residents' requirements, performing clinical tasks, and administering medications.
- Serve as a model for comprehensive care, working collaboratively with various teams within the care home.
- Oversee admissions and discharges, manage complex clinical situations, respond to medical emergencies, and provide end-of-life care.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including general practitioners, pharmacists, residents, and their families.
- Ensure accurate documentation related to clinical care, audits, incidents, and health and safety protocols.
- Assume leadership responsibilities when required.
Communication Skills:
- Effectively interpret and convey information.
- Share expertise and provide training to others.
- Maintain open and regular communication with team members.
Analytical Thinking:
- Assess complex situations and plan accordingly.
- Contribute to the development of policies.
- Recognize the long-term implications of decisions made.
Leadership Abilities:
- Focus on team engagement and organizational objectives.

Additional Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with NMC (adult level 1).
- Experience in caring for older adults or individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with CQC Regulations, infection control, and NMC standards.
- Experience in conducting clinical audits, developing care plans, and performing risk assessments.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and the aging process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion or willingness to undertake the Supporting Students in Practice course.
- Pursuing further professional qualifications.
- Experience with quality assurance systems and policy formulation.
- Awareness of effective people management techniques.
