The role primarily involves office and clinic-based responsibilities, with some potential for hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral member of the local leadership team, you will contribute your expertise in your specialized area while guiding the administrative team to evolve the service in alignment with the needs of young individuals and their families.

Your role will encompass overseeing and providing administrative assistance to operational managers and clinical teams, ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the service. You will be tasked with managing the daily operations of the administrative team to deliver responsive and efficient administrative support, processes, and protocols. This position demands exceptional interpersonal skills, time management, and communication abilities to uphold client and staff confidentiality. You will also be expected to prepare agendas and take minutes during various meetings, as well as assist managers with data analysis tasks.

The Administrative Team Leader plays a crucial role in fostering staff development; therefore, you will exemplify positive interactions and engagement with families and staff, adopting a proactive approach. You will be responsible for line managing the administrative team, identifying training needs, and leveraging their strengths, while receiving support from the administrative professional lead and team managers, along with peer supervision from fellow administrative team leaders.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business & Administration or equivalent practical experience
  • RSA Level 3 or comparable experience with evidence of further practical experience
  • A good standard of secondary education; GCSE at Grade C or above
