Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and people-centric Health, Safety & Environmental professional to lead our site's Health, Safety & Environmental function. As a senior Advisor or established Site HSE Manager, you will empower a dedicated production and operations workforce to own the safety agenda and lead the implementation of a medium-sized site's cultural change programme in HSE excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Visible, onsite, leading the Health, Safety & Environmental function across the site, responsible for implementing H&SE management systems
  2. Lead the development and implementation of the site's Environment, Health & Safety deployment plan to deliver objectives in line with the Group Sustainability and HSE Strategy
  3. Coach and mentor production and operations staff to ensure a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  4. Implement and maintain a robust Health, Safety & Environmental management system, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  5. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of production and operations staff
  6. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  7. Collaborate with site operations teams to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
