Job Title: Oracle Cloud Product Manager

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Product Manager to join our Corporate Transformation team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering vital government systems and ensuring the effective management of the Oracle Cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Oracle Cloud product development roadmap and the specific changes coming with each release.
  • Coordinate feedback from business experts and build a repeatable 'upgrade' process that is iteratively developed, improved, and optimized quarter by quarter.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of platform training content in partnership with Directorates and support the ongoing use of Oracle Guided Learning.
  • Perform regular review sessions to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the HR, Finance, and purchasing platform and channel such ideas into the right process.
  • Work with Digital & 3rd party suppliers to coordinate testing and deployment, and assist with facilitating a super user network to bring all experts, their ideas, and challenges together to feedback to suppliers.
  • Manage and develop a bank of test scripts and automated testing regimes in partnership with Digital and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Help assess the impact of change and play a key role in developing change plans and comms strategies.
  • Be central to planning and deciding how/when to change any component in the end-to-end architecture, to assess impact and change control.
  • Consider the training and enhancement management requirements of the product and maintain a backlog and schedule of enhancements for Oracle Cloud.
Requirements:
  • Experience in project disciplines or iterative agile processes.
  • Knowledge of SaaS software.
  • Ability to coordinate testing and deployment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • A competitive salary of £44,557 per annum.
  • A £5,000 per annum pro-rata DDaT Pay Supplement after a 3-month competency qualifying period.
