In light of recent project acquisitions, we are in search of a seasoned fire safety expert to join our Bristol team, serving the south west and Wales regions.

This position is ideal for a client-facing fire safety professional eager to advance their career within a reputable firm experiencing significant growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fire risk assessments across various property types.
  • Ensure compliance with fire risk assessor competency through ongoing training and legislative updates.
  • Provide fire safety consultancy services to clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on the latest fire safety guidelines, legislation, and building regulations.
  • Collaborate with a team of construction management professionals, including building surveyors and health & safety experts.
  • Engage with principal contractors and clients to enhance fire safety measures.
  • Oversee fire safety aspects for assigned projects.
  • Lead and manage projects with diligence and proactive engagement.
  • Foster new and existing business relationships.

About You:

  • NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum Level 2 certification in Passive Fire Protection.
  • Ideally, a Level 3 Diploma in Fire Safety.
  • Membership in IFE/IFSM or a commitment to achieve this.
  • Strong understanding of UK fire safety legislation.
  • Experience in conducting fire risk assessments and compartmentation in various building types.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the sector, preferably with a consultancy, registered social landlord, or property management organization.

Compensation Package:

  • Competitive salary up to £55,000.
