Building Safety Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Safety Consultant to join our team at The Health and Safety Partnership. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on building safety matters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential building safety, with experience in implementing and improving safety management systems. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients in the residential sector, including owner/managers of Higher-Risk Buildings.

We are looking for someone who is keen to pursue a career in consulting and is passionate about building safety. If you have a strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and are looking for a challenging role, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on building safety matters
  • Implement and improve safety management systems
  • Work with clients in the residential sector, including owner/managers of Higher-Risk Buildings
  • Develop building safety documentation
  • Support clients in achieving statutory compliance for building and fire safety
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with safety management systems
  • Knowledge and experience in writing building safety cases and reports
  • Demonstrable experience of statutory compliance for building and fire safety
  • Qualifications such as the CIOB Diploma in Building Safety Management or NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Membership of a professional body such as IOSH or CIOB
