We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Red Kite Waste, a leading player in the UK's waste management and recycling sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing all health and safety activities at our sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. They will also be involved in monitoring performance and contributing to the development of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee health and safety activities at our sites
- Ensure compliance with ISO 18001, 14001, and 9001 standards
- Monitor performance and contribute to the development of KPIs
- Lead culture change initiatives in the workplace
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) or NEBOSH Diploma (preferred)
- Previous experience in auditing and implementing health and safety standards
- Experience working in the waste management, recycling, or food waste sectors
- Proven man-management experience
