An opportunity has emerged for a Business Support and Recruitment Officer to join the Analytical Recruitment Team within the Office of the Chief Analyst. This role is essential in providing vital support to the analytical community within the Department of Health and Social Care.
The successful candidate will collaborate with a diverse and supportive team, dedicated to delivering a premier recruitment service to over 400 stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities
The primary objective of this position is to assist the analyst recruitment team in providing a seamless and effective service across our analytical community. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing large-scale recruitment initiatives, including the annual managed moves process for analyst rotations.
- Offering tailored guidance to managers on optimal strategies for filling vacancies.
- Ensuring adherence to recruitment principles and policies while serving as the initial point of contact for new requests.
- Supporting colleagues within the broader team, fostering opportunities to understand and engage with wider analytical priorities.
- Developing and implementing procedures for tracking the current placements of approximately 400 analysts.
- Facilitating presentations and training sessions for the analytical community.
- Collaborating across teams to contribute to various business functions within the wider organization.
Qualifications and Skills
The role requires a candidate who is:
- Highly organized, efficient, and diligent in managing team communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Capable of building expertise in analyst recruitment and accreditation processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
